Links

This page used to consist mainly of links to my friends’ personal websites. Unfortunately, most of my friends’ personal websites died back when the social network was invented.

So, instead, I am going to use this section to link to some great places around the web that I think are pretty cool.

NavSource Naval History: This is an amazing website which contains what is undoubtedly the LARGEST collection of photos of U.S. Navy warships on the Internet. I have spent countless hours over the years just browsing through their collections. It’s simply amazing.

Temple O’ Trunks: When I was going to middle school, Dragon Ball Z was at the height of its popularity. My friend Julia gave me a link to this really outlandish website called Temple O’ Trunks, which was a character shrine to the character Trunks. I loved laughing at her humor section and her music vidoes were just amazing. Today, I am just amazed that this website is still online–so few fan-run DBZ websites still are.

Kanzenshuu: This is the successor website to “DaizenshuuEX,” which was another DBZ website that I frequented back in the day. The founder of DaizenshuuEX, interestingly enough, is married to the owner of the Temple O’ Trunks! Small world.

Hawaiian Volcano Observatory: This is the homepage of the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, which offers daily updates on the activity of Kilauea Volcano, and monthly updates on the activity of the other active/dormant volcanoes of the State of Hawaii, including Mauna Loa, Lo’ihi, Hualalai, Mauna Kea, and Haleakala. A must-see for any volcano enthusiast.
